Андрей (Dread) Голубев

"“Poker attracted me with its depth and the opportunity to apply strategic skills that I developed throughout my esports career. I’m interested in understanding the game and progressing,” says Andrey."

Before joining the PokerOK ambassador team, Andrey Golubev (Dread) was already widely known thanks to his career in Dota 2.

Andrey’s esports journey began in 2008 with DotA: Allstars. In 2011, he placed 5th–6th at the first The International as part of the Moscow Five team. In subsequent years, Dread played for Virtus.pro, RoX.KIS, and HellRaisers, with whom he reached the top 12 at the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2015. His achievements also include victories at joinDOTA Masters XVI and ASUS Open.

Charisma and deep understanding of the game made Andrey one of the most recognizable analysts, commentators, and streamers in Russian-speaking esports.
In total, his Twitch broadcasts have accumulated more than 125 million views.

At the same time, Dread did not limit himself to one discipline. His interest in poker appeared back in 2009, and since 2022 he has regularly streamed No-Limit Texas Hold’em.
Over time, poker became a separate development path for him: Andrey began actively participating in live tournaments and international series.

By 2025, Andrey Golubev’s total recorded poker tournament winnings exceed $350,000, reflecting consistent participation and results in live series.
In 2024, he became a PokerOK ambassador and continues to develop as a player and share his experience with a wide audience in his new role.
