WSOPC final day, a new WSOPC ME Champ & 3 more gold ring winners

With four new Gold Ring winners crowned, including a new Main Event Champ, the bumper WSOP Super Circuit Online Series closed with a bang last night, as a little over 20,000 hungry poker players battled it out over the virtual WSOP felt for a share in the $13,900,000 in prize pools and one of four WSOPC Gold Rings.

In the $5M GTD Main Event, Germany’s Lars ‘schimmelgodx‘ Kamphues emerged victorious, taking home a cool $1,271,218 share of the gargantuan $9.2M prize pool for his efforts, not to mention a serious a piece of WSOP bling and a place in the poker history books!

WSOPC Ring Event #17: MAIN EVENT $5M GTD

The one everybody had their eye on, Event #17: Main Event, got underway at 3pm ET, with the 1,494 players having made it through from Day 1 Phases.

It was an all-action affair right from the get-go, as players jostled for chips and position, hoping to make it to the money bubble at 1,196th place. It took a little over an hour for the money bubble to be burst, and within 4 hours we were down to one hundred players left in the hunt for the title.

In the final hand of the main event, Biereux had schimmelgodx dominated with QJ versus J4, but a cruel J 4 6 flop, and no help from the turn or river for Biereux, meant that Lars ‘schimmelgodx’ Kamphues of Germany was our new WSOP Super Circuit Online Main Event champion – well played and Good Game!

WSOPC Ring Event #16: PLO MAIN EVENT $1M GTD

In the $1,000 buy-in PLO Main Event the day belonged ‘rubbherducky‘, who entered the final table as one of the chip leaders and used his stack to devastating effect to run over his opponents.

rubbherducky entered heads-up play with a commanding ten-to-one chip-lead against Love2Spew, and and it didn’t take long for rubbherducky to dispatch his opponent and claim the Gold Ring and $362,000 – Good Game!

WSOPC Ring Event #15: Monster Stack $500K GTD

A huge 5,216 players entered the final Monster Stack of the series, generating a prize pool just shy of $1,000,000.

After a three-way deal, waransan defeated DameDolla heads-up to claim the Gold Ring and become our 15th WSOPC chamion of the series, after his middle pair on the flop held up against his opponent’s nut flush draw – Good Game!

WSOPC Ring Event #18: The Closer $500K GTD

In the final ring event of the 2020 WSOP Super Circuit Online Series, a whopping 2,405 players paid the $500 buy-in, generating a massive $1,142,375 prize pool – more than doubling its $500,000 guaranteed prize pool!

Played in Turbo format, it took a little over seven hours for us find our final ring winner Goblue, who bested Pokerguy21 heads-up to claim the title of WSOPC Ring Event #18: The Closer Champion and $168,276 first-place prize.
