The day started with 1,000 players, all in the money. It ended with 292 players still with chips in front of them, ready to compete another day.
The World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event No-Limit Hold’em World Championship Day 4 was one of high drama, where many big names fell by the wayside and some newcomers announced themselves on the poker world’s biggest stage.
Each remaining player is now guaranteed at least $33,900 on their exit.
Spain’s Ramon Colillas is the tournament chip leader with a massive 5,000,000 in chips, but also in the top ten stacks are Stephen Song and Stephen Chidwick, both of whom are WSOP bracelet winners. Still flying the flag for GGPoker is ambassador Jason Koon, who finished up Day 4 with 765,000.
34 GGPoker players plus two ambassadors were in action today – everyone was guaranteed at least $15,000, which gave today a very different texture to previous days – and by the time the last cards had been dealt, 13 GGPoker legends still had chips to bring into Day 5:
